Game Time & Seasons
Equivera runs on a excellerated time-line. 1 Real Day = 2 Game Days. Most dates are recorded in real and game time.
Time in Equivera moves faster than in the real world. One real-world year is equal to approximately two game years, allowing the world, horses, and seasons to progress at a steady pace.
Game Seasons
Every real-world day represents two game days. A full game year contains 365 days and lasts approximately four real-world months.
Horses age by one year at the beginning of each new game year. Because two game years occur during one real-world year, horses age two times during a real-world year.
Equivera follows four seasons based on the game calendar:
| Winter | |
|---|---|
| Spring | |
| Summer | |
| Autumn |
Each season lasts approximately one real-world month, meaning players experience each season about three times during a real-world year.
Because game years do not align exactly with real-world calendar months, the real-world dates on which seasons begin will gradually shift. The current season and game year are always displayed in-game.
