Training & Progression
Training Basics
- Each horse may train once per game day, including across discipline changes.
- Training earns XP and improves mapped stats, capped by genetic potential.
- Activities require sufficient age, health, body condition and energy. Health cases that block training must resolve first.
- Housing and daily care provide the existing energy recovery. Check Health Services and stable care if a horse needs recovery.
Foundation Training
All horses begin with foundation training. Earn 100 foundation XP before selecting a discipline.
- Groundwork develops rideability, focus and confidence.
- Conditioning develops stamina, strength and balance.
- Gymnastics develops balance, agility and strength.
- Confidence Building develops confidence, focus and rideability.
Default foundation activities award 20 XP and are available from age two. Administrators can adjust activity requirements and stat weights.
Discipline Training
After foundation, select an active discipline and continue with its schooling activity. Each discipline retains separate XP, including when you switch away and return. Level advancement checks configured XP and age requirements. XP can accumulate before a horse reaches the next level’s minimum age.
The Discipline Guide shows the current stat weights, levels and age-division mappings. Show-tier requirements are competition eligibility information and do not prevent schooling.
