Achievement Points & Titles
Horses in Equivera earn lifetime achievements titles based on their performance on accumulative points earned throughout their careers. These titles serve as a recognition of a horse's accomplishments and can be used to showcase their success within the Equivera community.
Earning Points
Horses earn Lifetime Achievement points by placing in competition classes. Points are awarded through 6th place and are adjusted by the tier of the show and the number of real horses competing in the section.
Placing Points
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 8 | 6 | 4 | 2 | 1 |
Horses placing 7th or lower still receive an official placing, but do not earn Lifetime Achievement points.
Show Tier Multiplier
| Show Tier | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Schooling | ×0.50 |
| Local | ×1.00 |
| Recognized | ×1.50 |
| International | ×2.00 |
Field Size Multiplier
| Real Starters | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1–2 | ×1.00 |
| 3–4 | ×1.10 |
| 5–7 | ×1.25 |
| 8–11 | ×1.50 |
| 12+ | ×2.00 |
Calculating Points
Lifetime Achievement points are calculated using:
Base Placing Points × Show Tier Multiplier × Field Size Multiplier
The field size multiplier is based only on the number of real starters in the horse's section. Ghost horses do not increase the multiplier.
For example, a horse winning a class in a Recognized show with 10 real starters earns: 10 × 1.50 × 1.50 = 22.5 points.
Achievement Titles
Horses earn unique sea-themed titles as they reach Lifetime Achievement point milestones. Titles are cumulative achievements and remain part of the horse's record once earned.
